Hilka Birns of CH Aviation reports that –
“Former South African Express and South African Airways CEO Siza Mzimela and SA Express ex-chairpersons Tryphosa Ramano and Trevor Abrahams are amongst six former executives who have applied to the South African High Court to stop an investigation into their role in the 2022 demise of the state-owned regional carrier, which the government has blamed on deep-rooted corruption, fraud, years of mismanagement, and state capture. The insolvency investigation has been dragging on for two years since they were first subpoenaed in March 2021.”
