On 19th January 2021, a Boeing 737-400 freighter suffered a hard landing into Exeter, United Kingdom.

A West Atlantic Flight NPT105L, a Boeing 737-4Q8(SF), registration G-JMCY, operating a domestic cargo flight from East Midlands Airport (EMA/EGNX), to Exeter Airport (EXT/EGTE), suffered a very hard touchdown upon landing and sustained possible overstress damage.
The aircraft has been so badly damaged, that The Royal Mail was unable to unload the pallets from the main deck.
The airplane sustained extensive damage to the center fuselage, and it is believed that the 26 year old aircraft is damaged beyond economical repair.
The two pilots on-board were not injured.
The aircraft involved in this incident was initially delivered to Alaska Airlines in December 1994. From 2009 to 2014 it flew to Donavia and in 2015 it was converted for cargo freight.
